Calm has returned to the house

Andy and the kids were the alarm clock this morning. But not until 7:30 which was normal for us. They left after dinner, so the tempo in the house really changed. They got home about 3:00.

Iowa State about won the Big 12 North twice, but it was not to be. But they are co-champions with Colorado and don't have to go play Oklahoma next weekend. They will get a bowl trip, hopefully south eastern US so they have warm weather. Carol listened to the radio during the ISU game as she worked on the computer and it was ahead of the dish tv by about 5 seconds, so she knew the bad results before I did.

Carol and I played solitaire after supper. Tomorrow Kevin is going to put the two new windows in place before the first snow storm. We don't need snow!
